Margaret works as a civil servant and has been coming to St Barnabas for over 30 years.
She feels the best thing about the church are the people who make up its membership
and the worst thing is the problems associated with looking after the huge
Edwardian building. She says : |

"We are a friendly and inclusive band and welcome new members as they are.
People are never pressured into doing anything they don't want to,
although there's plenty of scope for getting involved if that appeals." |

Margaret organises the children's nativity play at the Christingle service
every December as well as being "Bric-a-brac Queen" at our mini-markets
and Christmas Bazaar. |
